Hello,

When working with geometries that have high curvature surfaces, I sometimes see striations or wrinkles that form on the surface when I assemble a few quilts or models. Not all high curvature surfaces of the geometry have this issue, but I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this before? I've always left it alone and continue to used the grid generated from these assembled databases for simulation and never thought it had influence on my results.

Thank you,
Jared

UPDATE:

I added images of before and after assembling/joining 2 quilts together to show clarity on the issue I'm mentioning.

Jared, that sometimes is just a graphic artifact of how the quilt's render mesh is generated. You can use the View, Attributes command to increase the render mesh's density and that should make the entity appear smooth.

Thanks John! Worked like a charm!
