3D wing Meshing, OpneFOAM

Hi Pointwise Experts,

I have completed the simulation of NACA 0012 airfoil using OpenFOAM and now moving to 3D wing simulation. I made NACA 0012 Airfoil Mesh on Pointwise using O-type Topology.

I am bit confused how to mesh the 3d wing. Do I need to make the full geometry in Solidworks and them import to Pointwise as IGES and then start its Meshing or I can start from my 2d Mesh that I have created using O type Topology.

Please help me. I would be very very thankful to you.

Hi Dear,

Thanks a lot for your reply. I went through all the links you provided in your reply. But they just explained the Meshing of 2d airfoil. I already done simulation of 2d airfoil. Looking for help to create the Mesh of 3d wing.
