Hi Guys,

I am having trouble in making this high order mesh of Polynomial2 or 3 . it keep giving me this error of non planar constraint,. Any advice or suggestion to fix it?

The error messages tell you that the export is failing because:
  • dom-105 is NOT fully constrained to a Database entity.
  • dom-100 is non-planar and it is not constrained to a Database entity.

When curving a mesh, all non-planar domains must be associated to a database surface. The curving process need this so it can project inserted HO points to their proper surface locations.

Select dom-105 an then use menu Examine, Database Associativity to see which domain interior points are not constrained. Use menu Edit, Project... to associate the domain interior points to their appropriate database entity.

Same goes for dom-100. However, if dom-100 is "visually" planar, it probably means some of its points very slightly out of plane. This can happen when grid entities are created via extrusions and/or rotations. To fix, you will need to create an appropriate plane database entity and project dom-100 to it.

You are not running the latest Pointwise. If you can, upgrade to Pointwise V18.3 Release 2 Candidate 4 or newer. This version relaxed some of the HO error checking and may allow you to export your grid without making any changes.
