Hi, I'm sorry to bother you.
Attached are my running file and STL file. I have run a similar program before, and the result is normal. But when I changed the parameters I got these errors. I only changed the size changes caused by STL changes, and the wave-related parameters remained basically unchanged. The following error appears when I run the program: WARNING: Linux kernel CMA support was requested via the btl_vader_single_copy_mechanism MCA variable, but CMA support is not available due to restrictive ptrace settings. The vader shared memory BTL will fall back on another single-copy mechanism if one is available. This may result in lower performance. Hi Shuqichang,
the case runs for me using the newest REEF3D 22.03. A problem could be the fact that you use 25.6 million cells on your laptop, this will be quite slow in any case. Please try the newest version and let me know whether it works. |

Hello, I am very glad to receive your reply.
I updated it according to your suggestion and ran it again, but the same error still occurred. In addition, I would like to know why the operation is terminated if there are too many grids. Shouldn't the operation be slow? Looking forward to your reply . |

This seems related to the problem seen in the thread:
REEF3D(22.03) Segmentation fault After some testing on a low power windows machine with Ubuntu on Windows, there seems to be some restriction through the App. As the RAM usage exceeds a certain value, the App loses permissions to operate and throws a segmentation fault. We are optimising the RAM usage, but unsure if the Ubuntu app is restricted to a subset of the total/actual machine RAM and if there is a way to increase this limit. But certainly an Ubuntu on windows problem...

I'm sorry to bother you again.
After seeing the latest version updated, I ran a previously normal program on Windows with 22.03 and 22.04 respectively and still got this error. But the program works normally in version 21.11. The difference between the two is only in the version, everything else is the same. In addition, when I run the program you mentioned at the beginning in Ubuntu using Linux virtual machine, I still display the same error. Looking forward to your reply . |

We are seeing problems for Ubuntu on Windows right now, but unclear why. The code runs on all other versions.

When I run Ubuntu on a Linux VM, version 21.11 works, but versions 22.03 and 22.04 don't. The following error is displayed:
