Hi Arun and the REEF3D team,

I am wondering if it is possible to use the P 43 command to reduce the area of the state file size to only the area of the CFD domain for use in hydrodynamic coupling between FNPF and CFD.

From my current attempts, I only get a segmentation fault once the HDC procedure begins, but I am not sure if this is because I am trying to reduce the domain for the state file printout, or if it is because of some other reason.

I have attached the files I am using too.

Cheers,
Felix

If it is memory problems, it will be hard for me to recreate and check, let me see if I can.

I will get back to you soon.

Hi Felix,

the problem is that in your P 43 command y extends only to 0.04, while the 1 cell wide domain is b=0.1m. That confuses the state print out. In the new REEF3D release candidate an additional fix is added for 2D simulations that will prevent such crashes.
