Hi everyone,
I am modelling scour around a cylinder. I expect horseshoe vortices to form at the bottom of the upstream, transporting the sediment. Downstream I am getting roughly what I am expecting. I am unable plot in paraview. I am not sure whether this is due to the meshing not fine enough to capture the scouring at the upstream end of the pile or if there is something wrong with something within my input files. I have attached my control and ctrl files. Plaban Sen |

In order to resolve the horseshoe vortex, you need a fine enough mesh.

Here mesh size 0.025 in meter so if changed it fine then computation time will be more is it correct. Any suggestion that how to maintain mesh calculation that resolve vortex. Thanks in advanced. Plaban Sen |
