I am running a sediment transport simulation in REEF3D within a wave tank (20m x 5m x 1m), but I am not observing any sediment transport in the results. Despite setting up the sediment-related parameters, the sediment bed appears to remain unchanged throughout the simulation, Below are control.txt and ctrl.txt files , please check and help me , i am ready to make whatever changes are needed , i am trying it from almost 1 month , please help

Hello. It seems like you are missing the erodible surface. Such an erodible surface can be defined using either a T option in DIVEMesh or the S57 option in REEF3D. Once you configure that, a surface should appear when you create a contour at 0 for the scalar topo in ParaView.
Also S71 + S72 should do the same as S77, so you only need one.

Mr. Alexander Hanke, could you please guide me on how to calculate scour depth from the output?

A) When you have a topo contour, you can take a contour of elevation with a number of bins. (Exclude the solid though.)
B) Use the sediment output log. (Verify that deepest point is not in the solid.)

Hi Mr. Alexander Hanke,

I have implemented the changes you suggested and rerun the simulation, but I did not observe any sediment movement. Could you please help me identify where I might have gone wrong? I have attached the control.txt and ctrl.txt files below for your review.

Looking forward to your guidance.

Thanks & Regards,
Abhiram
