Maybe there is a problem with your geometry.
normally autogrid accepts simple and basic shapes of blades. in case your model is sophisticated perhaps you need to simplify it.

"Geomturbo" format generates the blades through the points that define suction and pressure sides and also hub and shroud. So IGES or other formats based on lines and surfaces cannot be directly used...
