Hi, ive been trying to install paraview3.8.0 but it didnt work. Like i did all the steps, however, once i had finished downloading paraview3.8.0 it was still in the thirdparty1.6.x paraview3.6.2...

Sorry about getting back so late, i do have the binutils-dev package installed, so im gonna try installing the new paraview. oh boy.

Hi, i don't know about that installed package, i will check.

In the meantime, im running openfoam 1.6.x, does that matter when installing the new paraview? Ill try both and keep you posted.
