Couldnt quite let this go, since I knew you...

Couldnt quite let this go, since I knew you wouldn't be able to get a hex mesh with inflation layers using that method. A way that will work, and that isn't that complicated, is to split the cylinder...

Ah I see. Then just add a method, choose sweep and change "Free mesh type" to All Quad.

If you are meshing in workbench, and the tube is indeed just a tube, then you can select a face at a short end and insert "mapped face meshing"
