According to the log file, everything is OK....

According to the log file, everything is OK. ParaView should have been built successfully this time.

Now please try the remaining commands:
cd $FOAM_UTILITIES/postProcessing/graphics/PV3Readers ...

Hi Will,

Sorry, I meant to write "gzip", not "gunzip".
Then try using: bz2 log.makePV(or "bzip2"?)
It should result in a smaller file... or at least I hope so...

Something went wrong in the build process of ParaView. Try running these commands:
cd $WM_THIRD_PARTY_DIR
./makeParaView -qmake $(which qmake-qt4) > log.makePV 2>&1
gzip log.makePVThen...

What do these commands give you?
cmake --version
qmake-qt4 --version...
