Freeman is right: the best thing would be to use the source version.

But if you still want to use the version already installed, and risk having no working OpenFOAM...

Ah, so far it's pretty simple, simply install the package zlib1g-dev:
sudo apt-get install zlib1g-dev
Then run Allwmake again just like as before.
