I solved by creating a soft link to libc.so.6...

I solved by creating a soft link to libc.so.6 under /lib. I have Fluent v13 running on Ubuntu 11 x64.
This is actually what I did:

sudo ln -s /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6 /lib/libc.so.6

If you are using Ubuntu Precise, setarch has a --uname-2.6 switch which enables the UNAME26 personality.

Example:
setarch x86_64 --uname-2.6 /ansys_inc/v140/Framework/bin/Linux64/runwb2

New flexlm tools are compiled for Linux Standard Base, if you don't have the lsb-core package installed you will see this error.

To fix:
sudo apt-get install lsb-core

I had exactly the same problem; 12.1 runs fine...

I had exactly the same problem; 12.1 runs fine but 13.0 not starting. Thanks to this thread I removed ~/.ansys and ~/.config/Ansys and the problem was solved.
