Sorry, I don't know why it is giving you a hard time...

For me, FlexLM (the licensing software) sometimes gets stuck on Windows. If it ever says the license daemon is down, I usually just kill...

Sorry, that usually works for me.

Next suggestion is to look in the top of your license file and find your customer number... Take that and go to the customer portal or email techsupp@ansys.com...

License Manager is down...

Assuming you have a valid key, but your license manager is down...

CTRL-ALT-DELETE and go to the Task Manager.

Find lmgrd and kill it if it is running.

Then go to the ANSLIC_ADMIN utility...
