You misunderstood, make sure the header is in the format I suggested. Then your file would look something like:
[Name]
myname
[Spatial Fields]
x,y,z
[Data]
x [ m ], y [ m ], z [ m ],...

Make sure the header in the file is in a format similar to this:

[Name]
myname
[Spatial Fields]
x,y,z
[Data]
x [ m ], y [ m ], z [ m ], Velocity [ m/s ]
