I was using OF 1.7.1 , it worked if I copied tutorials to my home directory.

I tried same for bubbleFOAM got the same error...

I tried same for bubbleFOAM got the same error message

--> FOAM FATAL ERROR:
FAILED writing polymesh.

I do have access to /opt directory. I am trying to run from there itself.
