i am actually working on something similar. but i have a simplex nozzle. the air flows around the tip to create a swirl. that's what I am meshing right now. you need a geometry for your injector....

the slice feature allows to do that...you just...

the slice feature allows to do that...you just need to select the plane or the surface on which the slice will be performed... give it a try since i'm not sure how you want you inner domain to extend...
