thats weird it should not happen. close icem cfd and open it. or try the step format... see if it solves the problem

don't use the import fonction, use "workbench...

don't use the import fonction, use "workbench readers" and select the geometry you want to open. also when you export your geometry in autocad, i suggest using the step of iges file type. good luck...

yeah icem cfd is a strong and easy tool. also check out my signature, i joined a link to become familiar with it... when you start meshing, adress your problem in the ansys geometry and meshing...

from autocad, export geometry to ICEM CFD, Mesh it, then export to fluent... these are basic steps for cfd, are you familiar with that ?
