I think in OpenFOAM 2.1 the name of the mesh-part that is supposed to move can be chosen freely.

In dynamicMeshDict: slider { ...

In dynamicMeshDict:

slider
{
moving ( FACE1a FACE2a );
static ( FACE1b FACE2b );
}

The names can of course be chosen freely.
