If check mesh complaints, I would leave the FLUENT mesh and focus on getting a snappyHexmesh....

I'm afraid I do not quite understand the question.

If the hemisphere is a wall, why does it get the boundary condition symmetry?

Should the symmetry not be applied to the air?
