Hrv, I know that it's steady-state. The adaptive stuff was just a silly notion I had because I was to lazy to look at the source and I couldn't think of any other explanation for the time warps. Now...

Have you written the solution after the first time-step? Usually looking at that gives a good hint (crazy velocities etc). And try it without turbulence (can't think of...
