I think you wont be able to avoid those bad elements.
You can't use anymore the trick I've done in my last project because you need that cylindral shape for the extrude.

I haven't done hybrid...

Blocking -> Create Block -> Extrude Face Then...

Blocking -> Create Block -> Extrude Face
Then Method : Extrude Along Curve
Then Assign your new edges

And good to go ;)

At least, yout min angle is 18°, which is not that bad ;)
