Meshing issue in sharp edges

Hi every one;

I have hard time in getting the good mesh quality in sharp edges of my model using the STAR-CCM+. I am putting the feature curves in all the edges and used cutsome value size for feature curves with no success in improvingthe the surface mesh quality and I am still getting poor surface mesh. Any idea on how to improve the quality of surface mesh?
Your feedbacks are greatly appreciated

Thanks;

Screenshots will help. "Poor surface mesh" can mean lots of things!

I mean faces who are creating a corner or a sharp edge will collapsing to each other randomly along that edge or corner and in the created surface mesh there would be no corner or sharp edge.

Try using a custom surface size along the edge where the collapse is occuring.

Hi Ryne
I have already defined feature curve in the edges and used custom surface size for the feature curves in the regions with no effect on the surface mesh results. Is ther any other place that I can define custome size mesh for the edges?

Thanks

Under your Surface Remesher (Continua->Mesh 1>Models->Surface Remesher), try disabling "Retain Geometric Features" and remeshing. Despite what it name says, this feature often makes my meshes not follow geometry, specifically around edges

Not sure if it will help here, but might also try upping your Surface Curvature->Basic Curvature value. I typically change this to 72 for every simulation.

Lastly, and this probably wont help, but try lowering your Surface Growth Rate. I usually change the default of 1.3 to 1.2

After looking at the pictures again, it really doesn't seem like you have a feature curve applied....

The best way to check is to do surface repair on the initial surface and make sure the edge shows up as a dark black line. (Representations -> Right click on Initial surface and hit Repair)

Thanks Ryne for your suggestions. I will try them to see how they work. And about the features curves, I have checked them inm the repair surface and all these edges are shown as dark black line.

Thanks again
