I was wondering if there is a kind soul out there that could perhaps help me. Please keep in mind that I do not understand CFD, I do not like CFD and I never plan to use CFD again in my life so if you have a suggestion please keep it as simple as possible. Pretend it's career day at your kids school and you are talking to a bunch of 8 year olds. I am trying to set up a mesh for a scale model formula one wind tunnel tire model. I need the tire to rotate. All the tutorials that the Star people have for multiple reference frame are either for geometry like pumps, which are internal, or propellers which are external. In my case there is an external part(the tire) and and internal part (the rim spokes) that are moving. I have tried using a rotating wall for the tire and a multiple reference frame for the region in the centre of the tire. I was wondering what interfaces I should use between the regions, I think that is where I am having problems. Alternatively if you have a simpler way to doing this problem I would appreciate the help.
