Hello Everyone,
I am post processing a steady simulation of a 2D S805 Airfoil. I am trying to generate velocity profile at different locations in the wake using a line probe. I am getting a correct velocity profile when I plot using symbols. But when I plot using a line, I am getting a random intermediate connections between the points. i have tried exporting the csv file and plotting in a graphing software but still I am getting the same thing. I know I can plot using symbols, but my advisor suggested me to plot using line since according to him all the simulations results must be plotted using lines and experimental results using symbols. What I think the problem here is the that the generated simulation data is not in sequence. but since the data is very big I cannot remove the points manually. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Set "Sort Plot Data" (or something similar) checked in the Plot Series properties.
