Default meaning of feature angle

Hi

There is a command in star cd sounds like below

edge on 40

where 40 is feature angle.

can anyone enlighten me what is the meaning of feature angle?

This command wil only display edges with sharp angles above 40 degrees.

The meaning of "feature angle" is in ccm+: Sets the minimum angle between polygonal facets when displaying feature lines. (from the documentation)

It is more or less the same in star cd.

can you please explain more, what is featureAngle parameter in viewFactorsDict file when we use viewFactor radiation model.

or more general question, how to set up the viewFactorsDict file?
