Q: Star/Star-HPC on Sun vs. SGI
 

Hi,

Has anyone done benchmarking of Star or Star-HPC on a SUN enterprise 450* vs. an Origin 200**. Which of those is regarded to be fastest/best buy?

Or is there another way to estimate computational performance apart from actually running the software?
