Hi,
Have anyone tested Star-CD on the Pentium 4 processor and compared the performance on either Linux or Win NT ? Thanks in advance. Regards Jens |

Jens,
I've never used Start-CD on a P4 but most likely you will not see a significant performance boost using the P4 vs. a, say, Athlon 1200Mhz. The reason being Star-CD needs to be compiled on a P4 with a compiler tuned for the P4. I don't know of any compilers that are made for the P4. John. |
