errors for right-handed grids

Hi everyone,

i tried to eliminate the left-handed grids in my mesh, following the star guid folder check and fix grid > right handed > apply and then fix grid problems>flip right the problem grids, i have also used the command cflip, any of them works, can anyone tells me why and how to change it.

thanks a lot

What sort of mesh are you using? Maybe some of your cells are very bad distorted. Have you checked the remaining lefthanded cells manually to see whats wrong with them?

That is also my experience. If there are still right handed cells after the correction the reason always was that there are very bad shaped cells. You have to move nodes by hand to reshape them. I know that it is very hard to move nodes within prostar. If you like I can send you a macro which helps a bit.

And after that you should not use any smoother because they normally are redoing your operations.
