2D Axi-symmetric Case

How can I build a 2D Axi-symmetric model in STARCD ? I want to use the r-z co-ordinate system. Thanks

Use csys 2 to use r-z coordinates. For 2D mesh, you need to make a make with one layer of thickness with symmetry boundary conditions on both sides.

Thanks HVN. I will try your sugestion. So in the cylindrical system, I choose a small angle with only one divison ?

Not necessary. because you have one single layer with 2 symmetries. You could take normally any kind of angle. You could see some examples of 2D studies in tutorials.
