About Pressure Field with Cyclic Boundary Conditio

Hi, there,
I am simulating a air flow in a chanel, with velocity periodically varying in flow direction. I set the inlet and outlet as cyclic boundaries. But the final pressure field I obtained looks periodic too! The pressure values at outlet are the same as those at inlet! This is obviously incorrect, there should have a constant pressure drop every periodic length along flow direction. I am wondering how the cyclic boundary condition is fulfilled within StarCD. Anyone can explian? Thanks, Jiaying |

It is normal with cyclic except if you put a pressure drop option in your cyclics. See that in your user guide.
