hi... Anybody knows how calculate the flow rate through a surface... is there any facilty in Star cd to do that?

Use the *get command with option tas or tav (type "help *get" in prostar command line for detailed information).

Another option is to load the flux results via the GETCELL, FLUXSUM command, initialize the flowrate via FLUXSUM, INIT and the pick the faces through which you need the flux calculated via FLUXSUM, CROSS or FLUXSUM, ZONE. The result appears in the output window.
