Countour(filled) and vector plot about symm axis
 

Hi

I am solving one symmetric problem... I want to present that problem as half contour(filled) and another half as vector.

what i have to do get both plot.

When you have something like an orthogonal view on a section cut, then you can try this:

Make the symmetry plane the center of your plot (using cent command), e.g. when the symmetry plane is the xy-plane (z=0) then set the z-coordinate of the cent-command to 0. Use dist command for the right distance.

Plot the first half (contours).
