How can I the relation between IPstar and ICTMAP?

I'm writing the user subroutine of BCDEFI. I know that the IPstar is the number of the cell in star, and ICTMAP is for prostar. Now when I run the star, I can know the IP of star, but I need to know exactly for each cell the number of prostar. Does anyone know how to find the relation between them.

Have a look at www.adapco-online.com

There are some articles about subroutine programming. Since bcdefi.f is called for boundary faces I can not see why you need cell numbers at all.

Anyway there is an example about the star/prostar cell numbering at the above page.

Yes,you are right.I only need the cell number of the boundary. But I think it must be a general rule for the relation.

IP is the PROSTAR number. The clue is in the use of the P in the variable name. Try looking in nom.inc
