Problems with moving mesh

Hello! Sorry for bothering you. I'm new user of Star-CD. For solving my problem I need to use moving mesh. I use Star-CD version 3.15 for unix. First of all I performed tutorials 1..6. It was OK. But in time of performing tutorial 7.1 (2D transient flow with sliding mesh) I faced with a problem: After performing Pre-Processing(Prostar), Pre-Processing(pmovlink), and Analysis(starlink) I attempted to use Post-Prosessing(Prostar). But in time of opening transient post file Prostar gave out error (error opening file tut.pstt) because the file is not exist. Why the file is not be created automatically? I performed all of commands exactly as in tutorial. Maybe something wrong with performing pmovlink command because after the performing I didn't see any information on window except " New parm.inc, removing NCTMXD in starin.f Size of executable star=8.9517 MB "

Could anybody help me?

I attempted perform tutorial 11.1 - I faced with the same problem.

Thank you in advance

Truly yours

Valery

Re: Problems with moving mesh

Hi Valery,

could it be possible that there is not enough disk space on your computer? Star is producing temporary files which take some space during calculation. Try to delete all old tut-files you don't need anymore.

Best regards,

Nicola

Re: Problems with moving mesh

Thank you Nicola. I just found the mistake. Point is that STAR-CD cannot find the user1.so library. After changing the STAR-CD configuration (with the help of administrator of unix-system :) ) so that STAR-CD will be able to find this library in the future, STAR-CD works OK! I can perform the tutorials 7 and 11.
