Yesterday i started having problems when running 3.15A under windows, when star is linking and creating the executable i get the message #link error: file not found - formula.obj first it was formula.obj so i tried moving it into the working directory then another and another eventually i had to move a whole bunch of files because star couldnt find them even when they were where they were supposed to be. I have checked my environmentals and they seem fine but it just wont run unless i move all these files. I was playing around with my registry but didnt touch any star-cd stuff but that is when the problem started. any idea what i might have done and how to fix it without copying loads of files everytime i want to run a sim?

in all likelyhood, your LIB variable is not pointing at the necessary STAR-CD library paths

you should open a command prompt and do a set > setout and use a text editor to look at the setout file...I'm pretty sure you will find that your LIB variable is not set right...which is why it can't find formula.obj...probably you have LIB set in both the user environment variable section and the system environment variable section...watch out...windows will use the user variable setting to override the system variable setting.
