Moving mesh problem

Hello,

I'd like to ask following question. I have generated a simple mesh block and I want to remove the first cell layer.

The first layer disappears, but the length of the neighbouring (remaining) cell layer grows twice. (When removing another cell layers, the problem reappears). Defining new coord. system with reoriented x-axis and then using it in command eddir doesn't help.

How can I fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Jan

When deleting the cell layer you have first to change it's thickness to zero by moving vertices. It's look like you move your vertices in wrong direction - you have to move "external" vertices towards "internal"
