Hello,

I am having a problem with the application of cyclic boundaries in the CD model. Is it a rewuirement that the model is created such that the axis of symmstry (for a wedge shaped model) must lie on the the y axis?

cheers Nandu

The answer for your question is given in Tutotial>Pro-Star tutorials>Tutotial 9. You should apply the cyclic boundary condition, then couple them together. It should works but on my computer it doesn't (( It writes me about a couple errors in coupling. Try to complete this tut. Good luck Vlad S

Please also check that the coordinate system you use in the boundary definition of the cyclic boundary is the one you want to use for coupling. Do not make the mistake to leave the definition of the coordinate system to 1 if you use the coordinate system 2 to define the cylindrical mesh.
