Coupling problems

Hi!

I get the error message 'Cell in couple is undefined', while I have defined these cells... What does it want from me?

Thanks,

Julie

Re: Coupling problems

did you sort out your previous problems with the cells?

Re: Coupling problems

Not all of them. Collapsed cell faces left, but I don't really know what to do with them, because I need triangular prismatic cells in my model.

Re: Coupling problems

cfix command can fix some or all of them. If the rest are ghost cells , you can just delete them without losing anything because they sit between well connected cells.

Re: Coupling problems

it wants these cells back. you may have deleted these cells accidently.

Re: Coupling problems

to get rid of collapsed cell faces, do a: cset news prism vset news cset vmer vset check cset,,facecollapse, news cflip cset,,,prism

This is probably the same as cfix, but you could try it

How I suppose to 'give them back'?

Re: Coupling problems

the easy way to solve your problem is to delete the couples all together and generate them again if you think the cells are there. If the cells have been gone what do you need these couples for ?

Re: Coupling problems

OK. Thanks to overall help I've fixed all the errors and... got an error that I've fixed already 3 times at least. It claims that I have couple with partial boundaries turned on that contains both fluid and solid cells. I know exactly that I created these couples as arbitrary with partial boundary turned off. It's just impossible!
