Running transient problem with scalars I often have the error message: "Transmission error 83 has occurred" after each time step. I use STAR-CD ver.3.10B on PC with Windows 2000 Prof. May be somebody knows from experience how to deal with that sort of errors. Thanks in advance.

Upgrade to v3150A.520 STAR-CD and try running your analysis again. v3.10B is old and not supported anymore. Your sales agent will be able to supply you with the latest install of STAR-CD.
