cell void fraction

Hi All,

In one of my project I am facing problem of getting large number of warnings saying "Cell void fraction of particular cell is too high and is set to 0.4" The problem involves water with injected air parcels (droplets- Lagrangian multiphase). What is that warning. Will this affect results?

Thanks,

Hi

It means that you have more than 40% of a cell filled with the disperesed phase, and the lagrangian model is not good at dealing with such a high volume fraction. The model will probably not converge. If this is a valid case then try increasing the number of parcels and your cell density in that area.

Thanks Allan for very valuable suggestion.
