more windows to linux problems
after giving up on my attempts to run my transient simulation on Star after copying it over from windows and finding it didnt run the same (see my other post from a couple of days ago) now i am having another problem, my .rsi file isnt working, i just get the message: gstar,100x50.rsi,flui,0,0,0,resi,all,n **NOTE - FILE 100x50.rsi
CREATED IN STAR VERSION 3.150 ON 8-JAN-2004 AT TIME 11:09:51 TITLE OF PROBLEM: FILE 100x50.rsi INFORMATION: STARTING ITERATION NUMBER = 1 MAXIMUM ITERATION NUMBER = 127 TOTAL NUMBER OF ITERATIONS = 127 NUMBER OF FLUIDS = 1 NUMBER OF SOLIDS = 0 NUMBER OF SCALARS = 0 THE FILE CONTAINS GLOBAL ABSOLUTE RESIDUALS **ERROR - INVALID FILE 100x50.rsi CHOSEN. FORMAT DOES NOT CORRESPOND TO STAR RESIDUAL FILE. any ideas? its never done this before and i have never had trouble on linux like this, could the installation be corrupt? |

It is broken in the Linux version but there were also (other) problems with the rsi files in the old sgi versions. So it is better to get the data from the .run file.
