Hi, Why is it that sometimes when I calculate a variable in Posdat.f the result is given in integer numbers, even though it is a real number. Here is what I have: var(ip)=c1*t(ic,1)*log(abs(var2/c2)), where t(ic,1) is the relative temperature, c's are constants and var's are variables. Var2 is fortunately giving me good 'real' results. This should be giving me something around 0.9 but it sticks to 0 every time I call for it. Will appreciate any suggestions. Many thanks IM

Var in your problem must be defined with a name starting with a letter between i-n, these will always give you integer values, all the rest will give you real values.
