free surface display
I have simulated a free surface problem. But how to display the free surface. On adapco-online.com there is very good free surface problem of sismic analysis of fuel tank. There is free surface visualization is very good. How to get that type of display?
Kindly guide.. How to make air (cell type) invisible.... which is over the liquid surface? |
Re: free surface display
The free-surface is defined as an isosurface at VOF = 0.5 (= limit between water and air)!

Re: free surface display
In that case the mesh is visible. I mean in case of iso-surface. Even though I switch off mesh display (plme off) and light on, still I am not able to get shading like shown in adapco-online fuel tank analysis. Kindly guide.....

Re: free surface display
Have you tried to make use of the glm mode???

Re: free surface display
What you want is shells created from the isosurface - these can be lighted. See here for a description:
