core dump error(URGENT)
 

We are using liquid octane fuel injection in a GDI engine.user subroutine is used for defining the properties of the Gasoline(n-octane) and starCd in built panel(spray atomization panel) is used for the position and duration of the spray. when the fuel injection starts(55 deg BTDC) starsolver abruptly stops with a message:

coredump(memory fault)

what is it and how to avoid it???

There is a good chance that it is a bug in your user coding, but it could also be a bug in STAR. Either way, you need to call user support.

Have you rescaled the memory size for handling droplets ?

(It should be done automatically, nevertheless)
