Symplane bc
Hello,
I have a stupid question. When you solve an axisymmetric problem containing fluid and solid cells whether you have to assign the solid cells to a symmetry boundary or just the fluid ones? Regards, Julie |
Re: Symplane bc
I assume, you need solid cells for heat conduction to solve the conjugate problem. Then you should also put boundary conditions on the solids. Otherwise you will then have adiabatic walls there.

Re: Symplane bc
Surely an adiabatic wall is a symmetry condition for a solid?

Re: Symplane bc
you are absolutely right!! sorry, i didn't consider that.
