CD adapco Website
Anyone know why is suddenly showing a countdown clock? Seems a bit strange to me.

Re: CD adapco Website
I do! I do! But as an employee, I'm not allowed to say. You'll just have to wait until the countdown is over. :)

Re: CD adapco Website
Does it have anything to do with the retirement of one of CD's founders?

Re: CD Adapco web site
or simply ..... end of CD-adapco???

it could be the launch of star-ccm, the coupling of star and comet.

or maybe they have bought fluent?? to destroy them?

matej October 8, 2004 06:39

Re: CD Adapco web site
I agree it is the end of STAR-CD. The fluent bought them. In a year ANSYS will buy Fluent and we'll be free of question which code is better, because we will have the best one - STFXluent.

Re: CD adapco Website
Ok, second guess:

End of the line for STAR-CD. No more development. All previous developers move to CCM+ development.

Re: CD adapco Website
It might just be that CD's web designer has given a month's notice in an intersting way!

Dear matej, I think you have the highest sense of humor among the CFD-Online users forum. How can I thank you for your excellent, realistic comment? You may be right, nobody knows.

Boy oh boy so many wild guesses on timer. That is for the reson that CD is going in for a new logo which is part of their rebranding excercise.

This will be launched on the 1st of November 2004
