plot analytical and star-CD graphs on same graph?
 

Hello,

I have created graphs in star-CD along X-axis by taking them as a seperate cell set and have graphed static pressure, density and other parameters along X-axis.

I have analytical results of the same and I have plotted them on excel sheet and both look very similar.

But I need to plot both Numerical and Analytical results on the same graph and I dont know how to do that.

How can I bring the static pressure or density values along x-axis on to an excel sheet and plot them??

Help will be appreciated!!

Hello,

I tried storing U, V , W velocities in the first 3 registers and static pressure (Pstat) in 4rth register and it was all well when i saw post registers window but when I wanted to extract the same values to a file so that I can open them in excel file by the command..

sdata,star.grf,4,1,1,coded

but the star.grf has numbers which are much different from what is present in post registers window.

Cam anyone tell me the reason and how to overcome these errors??

It may not be much help but did you go a

close all

before exiting star, if you didn't than the file star.grf is not complete.
