Can anyone help me with GLM option on my computer. My computer XP with GeForce4 MX Graphics card. The driver has been updated few minutes ago from NVIDIA.com. I am trying to set graphics driver to OpenGL. I got the message as follows:

Using the default visual:<24 bit TrueColor> Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0". The OpenGL version can not run on this display, disabling extended mode Cannot find appropriate OpenGL visual

How can I fix the problem?

Thanks in advance.

It would be helpful if you tell us, which operating system you are using. On Suse linux you first have to run the driver installation , the next step is to start sax2 and after that you have to type "switch2nvidia" before you run startx.

Thank you very much, both of you. I am using Dell pc, p-4 with XP window, Star-cd 3.15. As mentioned before, Geforce4 MX graphic card. I did go to starlauncher and ticked OpenGL. As my last post, those message comes out. Geforce4 MX was supposed to support OpenGL. I have no clue on what the mechanism lies behind.
