cyclic match errors
hi,
I have some issues regerding cyclic boundary condition. I am trying to match two cyclic boundary region, that lying parallel to each other in cartesian coordinate system. they donot have one 2 one correspondence. I am using arbitrary match option. it is giving error that offset must be opposite. what is the funda behind offset. please describe in detail sankar |
Re: cyclic match errors
The offset is what must be added to one boundary to make it lie on top of the other.
So if Region 1 is at x=-0.5, and Region 2 is at x=1.5, the offset is xoff=2.0. If that doesn't work, try -2.0. I can never remember which way round it goes, and it doesn't matter, as long as it works, right? |
Re: cyclic match errors
hi,
Now the point is the offset to be specified in region1 or region2.ie in boundary region definition. sankar |
Re: cyclic match errors
Both and opposite, as far as I understand it.
